Live at John Henry's - 2008 - $8

If you have seen Cicada Omega live, then this disk is a must. It was recorded at John Henry’s in Eugene OR, back in 2007 and it’s a great example of the Cicada Omega live experience. This is a seven song, 45 minute set of high octane, electrified salvation. Cicada Omega live is where it’s at. As quoted: “It exemplifies their skill for melding into a transcendental revivalist gospel-blues unit. The Kentucky-bred eclectic bluesmen of Cicada Omega leave you feeling dazed, if not exalted” So if you couldn’t be there… this is the next best thing.

Live at Pepper Gallery & Studio - 2007

This special event was recorded live at the closing show of the Pepper Gallery in Portland OR. The gallery was owned and operated by our own bass man, Daniyel Hicks. After a very good run, it was shutting down. This CD was put together to commemorate that night, the gallery and all it has done. Oh what a night it was! The music recorded that night reflects the artistic nature of the space it was recorded in. It is a rare collection of improv. from the raw energy of Cicada Omega&†All the songs were made on the spot with passion, fury and wild, loose abandonment. So hold on to your seats and dig in!

Cicada Omega - 2005

This is the first Cicada Omega release from the dark and bloody ground. This seven song, original demo features songs that helped lay down the track for things to come. It is collection of swampy, hypnotic, R.L. Burnside-inspired junkyard blues, which rattle with unconventional percussion (kitchen utensils, truck parts, gardening tools). A driving
trance like experience expanded with elements of rock, soul and blues.
